Imota Chair Commends Sanwo -Olu’s Infrastructural Renewal

‎The Executive Chairman of Imota Local Council Development Area, Hon. Benson Sunday Ayodele (BSA), has commended the infrastructural renewal of the Govenor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Sanwo – Olu.

‎The council chairman had on Wednesday led a high-powered delegation of council officials, community leaders, political office holders, and stakeholders to the commissioning of three impactful projects delivered by the Lagos State Government, marking another milestone in infrastructural advancement.

‎The projects were commissioned by the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, who was represented at the event by the President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, GCON.

‎The ceremony featured the unveiling of key legacy projects designed to improve the standard of living for residents and stimulate economic growth across various parts of the state. The projects are part of the administration’s THEMES+ Agenda aimed at delivering sustainable development.

‎Among the projects commissioned were the newly constructed 4.52-kilometre Ojota–Mende–Opebi Link Bridge, the Lagos Geographic Information Service Building, and the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Administrative Complex. These projects are strategically designed to address critical infrastructure needs, enhance urban mobility, strengthen institutional capacity, and improve service delivery to Lagosians.

‎Hon. Benson commended the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, for his unwavering commitment to infrastructural renewal and inclusive governance. He noted that the newly commissioned projects would significantly impact residents by easing transportation challenges, boosting commercial activities, and creating new economic opportunities.

‎He further emphasised that the presence of Imota LCDA at the commissioning ceremony underscores the council’s alignment with the development vision of the Lagos State Government, adding that collaboration between state and local authorities remains crucial for achieving meaningful and lasting development at the grassroots level.

‎Hon. Benson also reiterated his administration’s commitment to complementing the efforts of the state government through the implementation of people-oriented policies and programmes tailored to meet the needs of residents in Imota LCDA. He assured that the council would continue to prioritise initiatives aimed at uplifting socio-economic conditions and enhancing quality of life.
